My Xperia Z3's screen is almost black. It happend after my phone fell in water, and it is supposed to me waterproof. I cant see anything, but I can feel som viberation when I try to paste my code. Phone still works as I can hear camera shutter clicks by pressing the camera button. I can also hear other notification sounds. The display itself just doesn't work. The on/off button does not react as well. Tried volume up-off button thing about 10 times. Do not know what to do now. Any help would be appreciated!
Stop using the phone > remove the SIM and SD cards > place the phone in a bowl with rice > leave it with the covers open for 24-48hrs > also contact your Local support and request a vacuum test.
The vacuum test will prove who is at fault, if you have a factory issue or if it is a user's fault.
Hi @AhmedWardy,
Sorry to hear about your phone.
As @uliwooly mentions you should contact your Local support in order for an authorized service center to examine your device. They will be able to determine what might have caused this.
I put my phone in a bag of rice, and left it there in 3 days. But When I took it out, it didn't work, the screen was still almost black. When I use a flash liht or put it under the sun shine, then I can see a little bit
Hi again @AhmedWardy,
Sorry to hear that, in that case I recommend that you send it in for examination and repairs.
