Audio Balance

I lent my xperia sl stock earphones to my friend but after getting them back i realise that the left earphone is much quiter than the right. The sound quality is the same, the problem is only with the volume. Please tell me how to fix this. If there is no solution then can you tell me how can i balance the left and right sound in my xperia sl??

Most likely its a hardware issue, test your headphones with a computer or other phones but most likely you will need new headphones.
