Backspace Issue When Using Chrome Message Box - Tablet Z

The backspace seems very sticky when using a message box in chrome making it difficuult to edit.

Yes it doesn't work too welll. There seems to be a slight delayed reaction when I press it (enough time to make a user want tomoress again to see if it worked) If I hold it down it sometimes doesn't do anything until I release the key, other timesvit deletes very fast.

I have experienced the same with other Xperias, its not your phone its the website itself, as you can see at the bottom of this page its powered by Lithium, that's something they have to address.

No it's on the text boxes of other sites. It works fine in input boxes but not text boxes. I'm wondering, as you have implied, whether formatting engines cause issues in chrome.

That's quite interesting, something Google Chrome devs will have to check

I'm on holiday and had to use my tablet z to fill in a form in docx format to return to my solicitor. It was a nightmare, as every time I used the backspace key, the edit cursor jumped back to an earlier page where it deleted a few characters on that page rather than the word I was editing. So looks like the issue also affects Officesuite.
