Backup. help!

Long story short - I sat on my phone whilst ona plane to NYC. It has a big crack on it...Preventing to unlock the phone....

but I forgot to back up my phone (I was going to attempt to erase my phone (only way to get log me out of everything Faceboot, email ETC )but unfortunely used the lock feature instead in MYSUPPORT.  Now I cant back up my phone because I need to unlock the phone in order to do this. Is there absolutely anyway at all I can unlock the phone remotely in order for me to back up my files to my PC before I send the phone back for a replacement. When i plug phone into pc no files are showing under the phone name.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.;-)

You mean touch screen isn't working but you can see anything on the phone?

Get yourself USB-OTG cable and any USB mouse. Connect it to the USB port. Using cursor unlock your phone.

Then disable password/pin lock on the phone.

Open Backup & Restore app on the phone and create backup to SD card (not encrypted card). This will copy your apps apk files.

After that connect the phone to the computer and create backup using Companion or Bridge.

If touch is working but you can't see anything on the phone find someone with MHL adapter and connect it to TV.

Problem is that you can't use MHL and mouse at the same time so touch must be working to do it.
