Battery Draining on 3G Network

I need help with this. Last night i left my phone at 100% and Stamina Mode On, but after 6 hours the battery go down until 82%(6 hours and 37 min sleeping). I made the same experiment but in "Only 2G" mode and the battery go from 100% to 98%. So, it's not normal to me that battery performance in 3G. I've made some screenshots and as you can see, the process com.sonyericsson.android.wakeup, has to many wakes. I read about this en xda-forum and is seems to be related whit Fast Dormancy. So, i need help trying to do somthing with this problem.

Also this problem cause that Stamina Mode doesn't show good estimated time for stand by mode. I mean, Stamina Mode works(disable data connections) but there's no differences between have data or not, the phone consume the same battery.

i would advice you to reset the phone to factory reset and back up messages and contacts and leave if over night to see if there would be any difference in the battery time

battery takes few charge /discharge cycles to reach full capacity.unless battery reaches full capacity stamina mode does not work properly (my own experience). Give it a few days battery will perform great.

SatishAryan those screenshots are after almost three weeks of use, at least..

dm84 following your advice. Last night I did a factory reset using PC Companion(12.0.A.2.245). So, no root, no applications, no sync with google, no nothing. I left it at 100% and dropped to 82% in 7hrs on a 3G without data connection. Crying_Face

it took 5 weeks(almost 33 days) for me, but the discharing time is somewhat higher for me before 5 weeks when compared to u. If your battery performance is not increasing then take it to a service center. I think you tried everything(updating, factory reset, repair) so last hope is service center. If the phone is faulty they will replace it.I hope your problem will be solved soon.

hmmm i must say i agree your last option is the sony centre but find it really weird that the battery is draining so quick must be more to it could be the weather app try to disable it from app settings

Is not an app, as you recommended i've made a factory reset and left the phone at 100% before going to bed. That's mean there's no app, no sync, no data. Just  the phone connected to a 3G network (only for calls and sms). In spite of everything the battery dropped to 82% in 7 hours of standby. So the problem is related only to the use of 3G radio when the phone is idle.

And for now the sony service center is not an option, because it means at least two weeks without the phone. But perhaps I'll reconsider later. :smileysmileywink:

Factory reset would install the weather app again go to apps and all running and then disable weather widget and see if there's any difference
