Battery drains almost instantly from 20% down.

My Z1 Compact seems to use so much more battery these last weeks. I'm not on Lollipop yet since I was afraid of the battery draining even quicker (from the reviews I've read, that seems to be the case).

It started to go down quicker and quicker when approaching 20% battery - and now it suddenly jumps from 20 to 0 instantly and shuts itself off. Is this normal? What can I try - or should I request RMA?

Have you performed a battery health test from the service menu?

I did it according to these directions:

*#*#7378423#*#*-service tests-battery health test.

It says

Actual Batt(uAh): 2394000

Batt Health Status:

Good, no need to replace it.

Then all I can say is that it could be a 3rd party app cauing this or you perform a system repair

Performing a system repair using PC Companion will often fix issues - This will factory reset your phone and erase all data so best to backup before you begin

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

I completely reinstalled my Z1 Compact today via the manual you wrote  me. It worked fine, but now my phone went from 60% to 0% - just like before without a warning and in less than two seconds. I think it's time for RMA, what do you say?
