not a wise idea, chlorinated water will corrode the seals.
I wouldn't ever submerge it. Someone I know put his Z5 underwater and it broke almost immediately. I think Sony's phones are waterproof in that they're designed to stand rain and a little bit of water.
Yes but please do it gently, don't rush when moving the phone underwater, the sudden change of pressure that might do you something bad.
