Can't open file message

I've just got the z4 tablet, I'm trying to put nimemsn homepage on, I download it, it stored as default pack. Exe. But when I press it, I get message, can't open file, please help. I'm on google chrome regards john.

I'm not sure I quite understand. Is the file you are trying to open an .exe file?

Well they send the file to you, and after downloading it, I go to open it and a message says, can't open file. The downloaded file says defaultpack. Exe, so I'm guessing that's what it can't open.

An .exe file is an executable file used mostly in Windows computers. Android uses .apk files, so you will not be able to open a .exe file on your tablet.

OK, before I had the Sony xperia, I had a Samsung tablet and I could put the msn homepage on it, it was also android, so I'm confused.

If you received an installation file on your other device it would have had to be an .apk file for it to install if the device used Android. No Android device can open .exe files, at least not without modifications.

If you are only wanting to make MSN your homepage, open up your Chrome browser, press the 3 dots on the top right, tap Home page, then where it says "Open this page" enter the address you wish to make your home page.
