E Dual startup

My Sony Experia E Dual (model C1506), went off due to battery being flat. I have put it on charge untill it was fully charged. Now when I try to switch it on, it does not want to go past the loading screen (blue ribbons floating across screen). It's been doing it for an hour now.

What is the possible cause and what shoould i do?

Remove the battery:

Put it back and turn it on.

I already removed the battery, and put it back...does the same thing. I've even removed memory card and both sims as well....
