Hotmail access

I can access to all web sites except hotmail. When i try to access hotmail i get a strange white screen and and starnge icon in the task bar(seems similar to live messenger) any help will be appreciated

I think I read somewhere about Hotmail running flash on their internet site, however you can set up your Hotmail account using an email app. I use K-9 but I have also heard good things about Maildroid.  I have just set up an account using K-9 for a pop3.live.com, ssl if available on, and port 995 and then on outgoing its smtp.live.com, tls if available and port 25.
