To move apps from page to page, you simply press and hold the app until it give you a little vibration. Then you can move and place the app where you want it. Note that you have to sort your apps as "own order" to be able to move around the apps.
To remove the auto create shortcut on the home screen, open Google Play Store > menu button > settings > unmark the "auto-add widgets".
