i cant update my x10 to android version 2.1

pc companion said that my x10 is already updated but when i check the firmware version still 1.6

It depends on the phone generic state you can check it by doing the below

Press the home key to illuminate the screen but do not unlock it, then using the menu and back keys do the below
Menu Back Back Menu Back Menu Menu Back (wait a few secs)

Tap Service Info > Model Info

What does it say
Under Country

Under Brand

They havent rolled the update out to the phillipines yet thats probably why. It just hit the UK today so other  countries will follow over the next few weeks.
