I have just updated to JB update for my Xperia Acro S and suddenly it refruses to charge. I connect it to the charger properly and it charges for two seconds and then the light on the front turns off, android still says its charging.
The battery continues to drain. I've replicated this with other (working) android chargers. When it finalys decides to charge, it charges slowly when the screen is off and when the screen is on it continues to discharge. Hotspot, Apps and power draining settings were all disabled and it would still happen.
When the phone is disconnected it becomes very hot browsing the menus of the phone. Again without any background programs running. The phone drains about 1% every 2 minutes while disconnected from the charger. This phone is only months old so the battery could not be dead already. My Idea is that their is no frame limit on the menus causing the phone to work harder for no reason but I cannot confirm this. Please diagnose this problem. Thanks :3
