I am on my 2nd K800i and found yesterday that when I came to use the 800i with my Zumo 500 that I had no 'phonebook' information on the Zumo 
Reading the zumo instructions it states that, Each time your mobile phone connects with the Zumo, the phone book is automatically loaded into the Zumo.
NOTE: the phone book feature is only available if your phone supports phone book transfer.
Well the last phone 'K800i' worked a treat so the question is:-
How do I set the K800i phone to automatically load the phone book to the Zumo when it connects?

Hello there, firstly I would suggest making sure the handset is running the latest version of software which can be done using the Update Service found in the below link:

If you still can not connect to the device after updating the phone it is likely that the later versions of software on the K800i are not compatible with the device. I would suggest contacting the manufacturer to confirm this.

Many thanks for the reply but the problem is not connecting the two together, but the automatic download/transfer of the 'phonebook'
from the phone to the Garmin Zumo so that I can use the phonebook thro the zumo!
All the other parts of the menue are there on the Zumo:- Phone home, call history, Dial, etc, the one that is missing is 'Phone Book'
and that's the one I need and would like to 'Automatically download when it connects' as it used to with my old K800i

I suggest you check with Garmin if K800i is listed as compatible with your Zumo. Or check what Bluetooth profile they are using for transferring the phone book, some manufacturers uses the Remote Sim Access Profile (RSAP) Which is not supported by K800i.
