Lcd discoloration. Near magnetic charging dock z3

Hi. At the left side of my screen ( right next to the magnetic charging dock the screen has turned a light orange color it measures about 5mm in and runs the exact same height as the magnetic port. I never use the dock as I use a normal charger. Could this be due to the magnet close to the screen. And if so is this covered by warranty. Its annoying. I also have a loose fit port cover that just falls out on its own. And the speakers are distorted and not very loud. I have repaired via pc and still doesnt fix the problem. Any sugesstions please

Is it a Sony's Dock or a third party dock? either or contact your Local support to get your device inspected.

Its the Sony dock on the phone. Left hand side I have had a style cover on since I got the phone which has a magnet in but that hasnt affected the screen. Strange

Welcome to the community.

What you are describing sounds like screen bruising. It is usually caused by force or stress at a specific point on your display. Uliwooly is right, the only way to resolve this will be to contact your local support team as it is a physical issue with the screen.

My wifebhas the same problem with her z3, and she has the genuine sony wireless charging case.

I've used my Sony dock for months. I don't have any of these issues?

Same here and no issues, if it was caused by stress, perhaps the user had a screen glass protector or case and maybe it didn't fit properly, perhaps it was too tight, too many probable causes.

I have never used the magnetic charger or a dock. As for screen protectors I have never had one on the phone. Also im using a Genuine Sony smart cover case which as been on since I got the phone
