Hi,
I am referencing my itunes library in media go, total size aprroximately 15GB, when I transfer the whole library to my X10 mini sd card via media go the library size is about 2.5GB.
Obviously there is a reduction in file size by presumably reducing the bitrate, is there any way of setting the transfer bitrate to my x10 mini?
(in itunes you can set this to 128kb when transfering to an iphone)
regards
Jeff
Open Media Go and from Tools (top left)--Preferences--CD ripping: you can change and save the bitrate setting in this window.
I believe it's not about CD ripping, but transcoding :smileyhappy:. There is a setting in the Device Preferences (individual setting per phone) where you can choose wanted format (MP3 or AAC) and quality. Quality corresponds to more or less bitrate.
What you're trying to say is that CD ripping can be set to one of two formats and at a specific bitrate, when using Media Go.However, the original question was how to change the bitrate setting in the Media Go application.
Not really
That's how I interpreted your 1st answer.
Anyway, there is a setting in device settings where you can change bitrate.
