Hey guys,
I apparently did something very intelligible and somehow deleted the Alarm clock app from my phone.
Now, I ofcourse cannot find it and also don't know where else to download the app (except for other ones in the Play Store).
Hope you guys could help me
Thanks,
Riekster
Sounds strange. Go to Settings > Apps > The tab "All" > Scroll to the bottom of this list > Are you able to find the Alarm and/or Clock here? If you find them in the bottom of the list, they are probably not enabled. Press it and choose Enable.
Nah, it was enabled so I disabled it and then pressed enable again.
Still nothing and the app also doesn't appear on my phone. Turned the phone off and on again aswell; no luck
You could try to clear data for Xperia Home which can be found in Settings > Apps > The tab "All" > Xperia Home.
By the way, are you using the standard launcher or a third party launcher?
But, if I clear the date of Xperia Home I will lose everything, right? that's not really an option for me (yeah could always make a back-up but who says that works..).
I think I am using just the standard launcher (click on settings and then go to apps, all and find Home or Clocks.
I just want to be able to use my alarm again and to find and use the app but I also downloaded a third party one just in case.
Thanks,
Riekie
Ok, so I cleared the data for Xperia Home and while some apps were placed somewhere else I did not get my ClockAlarm app back.
A restart of your unit would be recommended after you have cleared data for Xperia Home, but if the problem persist a repair via Update Service would be recommended:
www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/
Download and install Update Service, follow the instructions that appear.
Note when you make this repair your personal data will be lost.
