Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

I'm afraid the LTE-version does not support multiple user accounts.

You must be kidding!

I just got my Z3 tablet compact LTE and You tell me I can't have multiple accounts.

I only bought the LTE version to be able till use it on the road in rare cases. 97% of the time it will be used at home with wifi by me, my wife, and our son. (We have 3 different accounts on our Nexus 7.)

I will NEVER make any calls with it, I will only use the mobile data.

This is a compact tablet not a Z3 XXL mobile!

Unfortunately LTE versions do not support it. Same applies to Z2 Tablet LTE variant.

Lollipop is said to make multi-user profiles a standard feature. Will this be the case when the tablet gets updated to Lollipop?

I'm really interested in the answer to this.

Will the LTE version have support for multi users when the Lollipop version is launched.

As it is now, it's not a tablet, it's a phone. I have laughed at iPad users that can't have multiple accounts... now they can laugh at me.

So, will there be support or otherwise I will return it as defective and pick up a Nexus 9 that I think is not as good as the Z3 because of the lack of SD-card and waterproofing.

I guess noone is going to answer this question till final version of 5.0 will arrive on our devices. So you can either return it and go Nexus way or gamble and wait till next year for OS update.
