My lock button and volume buttons arn't working....

My Lock button and volume buttons arn't working....

My phone is fully fuctional though, i put it on the charger to charge it and the screen flashes up, that being the only possible way to check my messages and use my phone...

Ive tried connecting to my PC and it doesnt work either..

How can i fix this, Please help!!

try an update/repair in this case:

1. Before you start you have to download the PC Companion software fromhttp://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/

and install it on your PC.

2. Once installed on your PC, double-click the PC Companion icon on your desktop to start the update.

Note! For some models you will be prompted to do a backup prior to the update and then restore.

3. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.

4. Phone Software Update.

5. Start.

6. Repair Phone

7. Continue

8. Accept data removal

9. Next

10. Wait for prepare

11. Select Phone

12. Follow the connection steps

if this doesnt work then it is hardware problem.for that go to ur local sony center and use the warranty.

My Phone wouldnt connect to the computer and has now lost all power.

Which is really really sad

Is there anyway of getting it back again?

It will not connect to a computer, i had it on charge for 8 hrs and nothing happened.

and the lock button isnt working so i cant turn it on at all?

Did you follow the instructions presented by PC Companion? You phone should be turned off when you perform the repair.

Yes i have tried. and it isnt connecting.

Well, in that case I'd recommend that you send in the phone to a service center for repair as it's not much you can do by yourself. Contact your local Xperia Support for more info.
