My xperia v broke down after update

i cant turn on my phone after the latest system update. keep on displayed sony i tried all tricks as example reboot by pressing the volume + and shut down together and it wont start . I really need to solve this ASAP. i got a big game of tournament going on this weekend and i really need my phone to be working for urgent contact

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

First of all try to remove the battery, SIM and SD card from the phone. Put only the battery back and try to start the phone. 

If you still experience the same behavior I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion: 

http://www.sonymobile.com/update

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > Press the blue link that says "Repair phone/tablet".

cant it wont start.. stuck on the sony logo ive tried all the sony companion step and it wont work still stuck on the sony logo

Force shutdown(power button+vol up until the phone vibrates 3 times).After that,try to repair with SUS:

After SUS checks your firmware,isn't it prompting you to repair?
