Dear Xperia users am i the only one who have this issue?? Cause ever since i updated to the lates 6.0.1 update,my music won't play,nope not even a sound at all..
Also youtube is bug and the videos in social media are bugged too..
Can someone help me how to fix it?? Btw,I'm using a Xperia Z3 (D6633)

Does this happen when playing Music through phone speaker, wired headphones or bluetooth headset?

Yep playing music with or without headset,there's no sound at all,even dial tones and other related tones are silent af..

Can you restart your phone into safe mode and check if it persists?

I've already done doing it now and still it's the same,sounds won't play..

What about call alerts? Does the speakers give you any sound at any occasion?

You can start troubleshooting by resetting your Smart Connect app:

- Go to Settings -> Apps -> Smart Connect -> Force stop, Unistall updates, Clear data and restart your phone.
- Go to your Play Store and update Smart Connect again.

Nope,it only vibrates..
Hmm,if i troubleshoot it will my files such as photos and muaic and apps get deleted??

Hi mrtn_tupe,

This is really unfortunate, however this could be a bad install of the software. Honestly I can only really advise backing up the device and running a software repair on the device to help resolve this problem.

Hi All,
I think since the last automatic upgrade software the ringtone is off. It does not sound in the preview of other ringtones when I try to configure the volume or the tone.
Version Android 6.0.1
