Phon shutsdown automatically

Last week I have updated my phone Xperia ION to 6.1.E.1.20 throuhg internet and thereafter I am facing the following problem:

- Even if the battery is not low the phone shuts down automatically

- Since last 2 days i am facing the problem that the moment the phone is removed from charging the phone shuts down and if you restart it again shuts down within minutes of restart.

Can you please help / advice me on what should i do?

I have tried the way it was mentioned in the thread. But the problem still persists.

Could it be related to bettery or circuit problem. Because when the phone is connected to the power it functions normally. How can I come to know about the problem.
