I am facing problem with Sony Xperia go.
I got an jelly bean update in my phone so i connected to PC Companion and tried to update it but unfortunately it got stopped and once again i tried to do but my phone is switched off and it is not responding.I tried once again using Sony Service update but it is saying charge your battery to 100% but when i am keeping my go for charging Sony logo is blinking and LED is not turning red so i tried to do repair through PCC but unable to do it so please help me as i already tried to force restart and i dont have much options.
I suspect it's bootlooping - the phone will refuse to charge while it is in the early stages of starting (it's dumb, but I guess it's there due to a technical limitation). Press and hold the power and volume up buttons simultaneously until you feel three vibrations, then release them - this will force your phone to shut down and remain off so you can charge it up again. Charge it until the LED turns green (and don't power it on), then try to repair it with PC Companion.
Hello Taboo,
Thanks for your reply.
I tried doing it yesterday but after making it power shut down the phone is blinking with SONY logo and i kept charging for the whole night and in the morning again i tried to repair it through PCC but it is saying that please disconnect your phone and check the battery and after this message i kept for charging this time the LED turns red and i kept for 3 hours but after that i got the same response during repairing.
Now after your suggestion i tried but now it is not even showing the SONY logo and the LED light is blinking in red colour.
Please help me and i am waiting for your reply.
The LED light blinking seems to confirm that the battery power is too low to start the phone.
Leave the phone off and connect it to the supplied charger to charge it again. Do not disconnect the phone until the LED is green, and do not turn the phone on even after it is disconnected. Just leave the phone off, you will get stuck in a loop all over again if you power it on. Open PC Companion, click on the Start > button under the Support Zone section (first entry on the extreme left side), then click on the Start button in the Phone / Tablet Software Update section, and click on the blue repair my phone / tablet link and follow the instructions given. You do not have to power up your phone to repair it.
Hello Taboo,
Just now did that but it is showing Error.
It is showing error in updating components.
So what to do in this case?
LED light turns green when connected to PC but not updating due to error.
Details, details, details - an error can mean a billion different things, all of which have different causes and solutions. What exactly is the error you're getting? Type it here in full detail, or post a screenshot of it.
This is the first message i received
After closing this dialogue box i received another message which i am displaying below.
Looks to me like it can't communicate with the server, try checking your firewall settings if you are using any (especially Windows Firewall) and allow Update Engine and/or Update Service if listed. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling PC Companion, restarting your computer (do not skip this step) and reinstalling it again.
