Hi,

I recently upgraded by Xperia S phone with ICS Software version 6.1.A.0.452. I am facing some problem when connected to the PC.

When I connect the Phone to PC the Sony PC Companion software get triggered and a pop up appears as found in the attachment, with the following Information

Your Phone is detected by the PC Companion, but the phone memory is yet not accessible

Please check the following on your Phone

1. A SIM card is inserted

2. You have unlocked the Phone (for example a PIN code has been entered if required)

Note:

In case a SIM card has already been inserted in youe phone and it has been unlocked,

PC Companion will in the background continue to wait for the phone memory to become accessible.

I have a SIM card inserted, and I purchased a box piece form a well recognised store. I beleive it cannot be an unlocked one.

Due to the above problem, I am not able to use the Media GO software as well.

I am able to access the Phone memory from the "My Computer" Internal Storage of Xperia S

What could be the problem ?

Is it a bug with the Upgrade ?

How to resolve this issue?
