Problem in Touch

i have got sony xperia U. i tried to update my phone 2 days earlier but the update wasn't successful. then suddenly from today my phone's touch is not working. i can't unlock my phone by slide. my touch isn't working properly. what should i do? my previous software update was 2.3 android version.

It sounds like this may have caused by an error with the update. With this being the case I would advise running an update/repair:

To repair the phone software
1.     Install PC Companion on a Windows PC from Support
2.     Turn on the phone, and connect it to the PC using a USB cable.
3.     In PC Companion, under Support Zone and click Start.
4.     Under Phone Software Update, click Start.
5.     Click repair phone.
6.     Follow the on-screen instructions.
