Please help on my phone, I encounter this problem yesterday.

The selection of photos and videos are gone , only the music selection was left but no contents.

Also when I take pictures, the picture was saved but cant be viewed on my phone but viewed on other phone using my memory card.

I also can't view my files on my memory card.

When I removed the memory card, still can't see the selection for photos and videos.

When I also connect my phone into my laptop, it says that I need cd for software installation for my vivaz.

..

Can anyone help? I was not able to update my phone since i purchased it last September 2010.

When I connect my phone to my laptop, it said that I need software installation CD for my phone, and when i checked the "My Computer", there is no icon of my phone.

Disconnect your phone from the laptop and download the update application from the link I previously posted.Switch your phone off and follow the instructions from the application once it's installed on your laptop.The update actualy requires that the phone is switched off.

Sorry, I just want to make sure if that will not do any further damage to the phone? will that be the fix to my problem?

download pc suites, media go and update services. instal it, then joint phone, it detect phone n install drivers.

then copy all data to pc from memory card. then format memory card n copied the data to memory card. now remove battery n memory car and reinsert and restart the phon, go to media, u will se two icons on bottom of x and three circular arrow like on recycle bin, press it, it updates ur media from memory crad, I hope ur problem is solve now, reply.
