While selecting text, use the cursor that appears in the magnified picture.
See if that works
If select text, it is stuck (On video from 0:48)!

Can't seem to reproduce this error (Xperia P, 6.2.A.0.400). Have you tried resetting the phone after you updated to JB?

Yes! It is actual problem for all JB-users!
Resseting the phone doesn't solve the problem. This bug appears only in andoid browser when you try to edit text. when you point marker at some text zoom window appears and marker freezes for about a second.
I have the same problem - reset don't fix anything - it's a bug...
Have you tried this in chrome?
In chrome everything is ok. But chrome doesn't format text when you zoom to fit the screen. This function is very useful for me
