Problem with transferred SMS

I got the new Z1 compact at the weekend and used the xperia transfer to pull my messages across from my old iPhone4. It appears to have pulled everything over correctly, however when I send and recieve messages on my new sony phone the messages are being entered into my conversations before the transferred messages.

The dates on the messages all look correct, its just ordered strangely.

Anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it?

Download handcent and check again

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Check the phone time settings.

Settings > Date and time.

If it is set to auto try manual or vice versa and check if this perhaps could fix the problem.

Hy, I have the same problem her, tried to transfert my sms from xperia z1 to z1 compact, and each new sms comes on top of conversation instead of end of them... really annoying...

Trying to change time settings didn't solve the pb, and I want to use sms app, not hancent or other one...

I've just managed to get it working.

For me it looks like a problem with the mobile transfer app where you connect the 2 phones directly.

Try using the PC companion program, as that seems to be working correctly for me.

I have managed to transfer all my media, contacts etc via the Pc companion but still struglling to transfer the SMS messages from my xperia U to Z1 compact - please help?

My Problem with the SMS is : I transferred from iPhone 4S and all the data goes to my Sony Xperia Z2 but what happened... I can't delete my sms on my Xperia Z2. Trying with all apps still not working. Is there any better way to solve this or just restart the phone start from 0?
