Problems with bluetooth connectivity

I own a justop btr006 bluetooth receiver, my z5 compact is not finding it when it scans for devices and i have found nothing helpful so far on the internet, if someone can help that would be great, thanks.

Have you reset the reciever?
Have you put the reciever in pairing mode?

I havent done anything to my receiver since i last used it, which was with my previous phone, my Z1 compact, how would i go about doing these two suggestions?

after turning on, hold power button until it alternates between the red and blue lights.
Then search using your phone and it should see it.
