Problems with PC Suite

Hi,

I use to have problems updating PC Suite on my XP machine - it would just hang and not update it.  So, I abandoned doing that altogether.  I now have a new Windows 7 PC so I downloaded the latest version of PC Suite to see if I had any better luck.  It downloaded and installed with no problems.  I came to plug in my K770i phone but the PC Suite didn't recognise it.  Anybody got any ideas?

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear that. Which version of the PC Suite is this? I'd recommend ensuring it is version 6.011.00 which can be downloaded here: http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/softwaredownloads/detailed/pcsuite/k770i?cc=gb&lc=en

You would need to be using this version in order for it to work correctly with Windows 7. I would also recommend running the How To Connect wizard before connecting the handset to see if this can locate the phone for you. I hope this helps.
