Screen blinks when trying to charge

It just blinks on and off showing "Sony Xperia" wont start up or charge

Try to force it to turn off by pressing power button and volume up at the same time (you will feel 3 vibrations). Then, let it charge like that.

Have you been able to try Alexdon's suggestion? If you are still unable to power on your phone I suggest that you try to perform a software repair using PC Companion with the help of a PC.
