Simple question about Android update

Hello,

I have a very simple question about Android update of this phone. Currently the official version is 6.1.1.B.1.10 build,

Now, as we all know and thousands of discussions in this forum, confirmed, this is a pretty buggy and slow build.

My question is.

     Is Sony planning to provide an update (not JB update) to fix all this issues?

I think this is a fair an simple question which requires an fair and simple answer: Yes or No.

I think we all need to know if is worth waiting a bug fixing update or not. Because if no update is on the road, this phone turns into junk. This phone, equiped with a DUAL CORE CPU, sometime needs 5-10 seconds to open the phonebook !!! It is totally unacceptable !! It fail doing the most basic function it was build for: make a simple call.

So please Sony support, provide me a answer.
