smart connect keeps starting up

since today smart connect on my xperia m4 aqua keeps saying i plugged in a headset even if i don't have anything plugged in.

it only stops when i turn of the application completely. what can i do to get this back to normal?

You could check for any dirt or scams in the 3.5mm input. Also, try to clear data for smart connect under settings-apps-all.

Hi @tobitoob,

As Alexdon pointed out this could be caused by dirt being present in the headphone jack so see if you can carefully clean it by blowing into it or similar. Clearing data for the Smart Connect app might also help so give that a try as well.
