I think MyTracks is the only app at the moment. It records your speed and distance, and that's about it. There are also hacks, someone has already installed Here offline maps to SW3 and it works, you can find more info from XDA forums.

Actually navigation-like apps make not much sense on the watch as long as the serious compass bug hasn't been fixed by a firmware update.

But the GPS receiver works well for my yet private applications.

ViewRanger works! It records your tracks, so that's distance and elevation change and shows your GPS coordinates heading and speed.
I think you can them view it in the app later, but haven't played around with it much yet.

Well, i played with ViewRanger some more yesterday and while it shows all the nav elements i mentionned last night, the GPS used is the one on the phone!!! so it acts as a remote control and display rather than a standdalone gps app!

I guess there are no apps out there that use the smartwatch's built in gps because this is the first Wear device with built in GPS.

Here's hoping Sony are working on one, or it may be a while as we'll have to wait for the Sony SmartWatch 3 to gain in popularity.

Google Tracks is using the SmartWatch GPS receiver. I am also working on an app using the built-in GPS receiver and it works fine.

Just a matter of time until more apps are available.

Actually there is the compass bug which prevents many applications from getting released. Hopefully the next system update will be out soon and fix it.
