Smartband SWR10 not starting

Hello there.

My Smartband SWR10 is not starting(?). It's fully charged but yet I am unable to get it to start, and thus unable to pair it with my device (Xperia Z2).

I've tried to reset the SWR10 using the guide* below, but that's not working either, I can't get the notification light to flash.

So I am pretty much starting to think that my SWR10 is defect. May that be the case or is there something else I can try to do?

Thanks in advance.

So no notification from the lights? You should press the button for several seconds to turn it on.After that,Z2 should find it or simply pair it via NFC.

Hey and thank you for your reply.

I have already tried that, last time I held the button down for two minutes and still nothing.

When I try to pair it with NFC the phone just makes a sound and sometimes the text "Smartband not connected. Connect with NFC." appears.

The only way I can see any form of life from my Smartband is when I connect the cable and get the "full charged"-light, which appears instantly.

Boot in safe mode:

Check if you can connect like that.Make sure Z2 is dicoverable.

No luck.

The SWR10 doesn't show up under discovered devices either, using Bluetooth. It gave me a "Read error. Try again" using NFC as well.

I returned it and got a new one as they couldn't tell me what the problem was or how to solve it. The new one works like a charm, so the old one was most likely defect.
