Well if you can't retrieve the information via the PC in Mass storage mode, you can try using software on the internet that claims to retrieve information from the phone, although this usually works only if the information is on the memory card.I have had this phone in the past and because there is no update for it and it's not compatible with PC suite, the only other reset/repair option is a master reset, providing you can still see the screen, which you can't.Of course,a master reset would wipe the phone data anyway, although SIM and memory card (which you can remove anyway) data should remain intact.If you have data on the memory card you want to retrieve, you can of course either use a USB card reader or another compatible phone.If you want to retrieve contacts from the phone memory which you haven't saved to the SIM, then you need to try phone memory recovery software.
