I got the sony xperia T yesterday and to my disbelief the device is not turning on. I have tried soft reseting it with the off and volume+ button however there is no responce. I have no idea what is wrong with it due to me not having it for that long.
Please guys, i need help, i will really appreciate any suggestions possible.... Thanks.

Hi Scott,
I had the same problem.
I got my Xperia TX today and it will not charge when it is off and even LED not showing any activity.
Worse case is that if you ran out of the battery then it will not charge AT ALL.
My friends told me that Xperia T , TX and some others have the same issue.
Shame on SONY to releasing such faulty devices without testing.
I am still waiting for a clear answer from Sony.
I have the same fault, i found out that if you depress the volume up and power switch together for more than 10 seconds it will bring the phone back to life, whilst performing this action you will feel the phone vibrate a few times, just keep the buttons depressed. THIS IS NOT A CURE to the problem as i have found the phone keeps crashing
Thanks a lot guys... This really helped, i got it fixed eventually (I had to wait all night and then the next day) while i was trying your advice. (Lock and Vol+ Key)
Thanks again and i really appreciate it!
as i said this this not a cure its a quick fix, i think its a software problem, i guess the phone will need to go to sony for the full repair.
Scott, have you had your phone fixed by sony now if so what process did you go through?
my phone is sony xperia tx too., please send me a solution if you found.,thank you so much..heres my email add.. thanks..
Had almost the same sitch with my Xperia C.. What I have learned though,is that you should not let it reach below 9% for the battery life. The moment the battery drained, expect that you'll have issues with turning it on. You may have to leave it to charge for a while or try and reboot it. But in my case, I pressed and hold the volume up and the power key the same time for about 10 seconds.
