Below is my saga with the Sony handset, the Xperia Z3 bought soon so released. The story is long and still had no solution. Hence the reason in my ALERT and the FRIENDS FRIENDS OF FRIENDS !!! DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP CELL !!!!
On 10.23.2014, I had the unfortunate idea to change my mobile device by a supposedly more modern, better in a nutshell. Sony introduced the Xperia Z3, with a battery that would last so many days ... waterproof .... etc etc and such, there I was ready to purchase using beyond the Bonus a fairly absurd amount for a unit the latest generation! On 01.13.2015 had the misfortune of having to leave the device in the Authorized Technical Assistance PLL in Phones, hitherto the only one who moved with such a device in Rio (nothing, they send to SP for not having qualified in RIVER). Once the period for return of the same Sony sent a new phone for me .... this time with a beautiful Logo LIGHT on the opening screen. After a brief period of dating, all the transcorrendo swimmingly with Alleged New Device ... August fell all downhill ... the rear window cracked and the charger plug cover no longer closed right. On Aug. 19 the unfortunate Mobile blew out of nowhere .... and reconnect it took 02 days. To return to the "normal" again known defects .... Battery not holding charge .... Super warming, I contact the SONY, which tells me that only the sending Mobile to them, and .... We go to the procedure in chat ... posting the number 592052861 // work order: 0005468981 valid only 12 days. Postal strike ... health problems etc ... prevented me put it. Today I call request Cod again. Posting to send the device that worse than before ... in not hard Stamida mode until lunchtime. To my surprise I was told that the apparatus is OUT OF WARRANTY I could send the device to BE MADE A PAID BUDGET. Today 02/12/2015 new problems appeared, taking off the screen type, when making a call the screen freezes!

If I understand you correctly, you waited to send the phone into the service center and now the warranty has expired? I'm not sure if you are able to get it repaired under warranty if that is the case, but I do recommend that you contact your Local support since repairs and warranty is handled at a local level.
