stuck at boot screen

I have an x10 mini pro. Lately, it keeps crashing and freezing. Today I tried to turn it off and on (I usually reboot it like once every three days). Now its stuck at the boot screen. The white sony logo flashes and it just keeps on repeating. I've tried sony pc companion and sony update service to repair (note: repair, not update) the phone. PC companion says that there is no software available for my phone. Sony Update service tells me that my phone is up to date. But I can't turn my phone on. Its stuck at the white logo at boot. Someone please help? Crying_Face

I found these, can you try it?

  1. Turn the power off. If your Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
  2. Hold the Left and right buttons located beneath the display
  3. Press and release the Power button
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to hard reset your phone

Xperia Mini Pro ....

The advices are pretty much the same, since you have no option to repair software yourself, you just have to send it to your local Service Centre.

I'm sorry!!! My mistake. Anyway, I FIXED IT!!! Here's how.

I gave up on SUS and PCC and used flashtool.

I downloaded ftf from here

http://xperiadev.wordpress.com/xperia-ftf-firmwares/

I downloaded the firmware for SK17a (the US generic version from the link to mediafire) and the baseband 72 for 4.1.B.0.431.

For those who use this method (and are noobs like me), the basband has to be unzipped and compiled into an ftf file. You can do that using flashtool. Flashtool>Advanced>Bundle Creation

Navigate to the the folder that you uzipped the baseband file to, and choose all the .sin files. Click OK. Now it's an ftf file and you can find it in the firmwares folder.

Flash the baseband thingy first and then flash the firmware.

It worked for me!!
