Txt msgs not showing up in main msg screen

Hi, I've just come back from overseas and since putting my Aussie SIM back in I am not seeing incoming texts on my screen.  I connected SD card in settings, which allows me to see a txt if I go into the contact but txt does not show up on main msg screen.  I also lost a whole lot of images from gallery and I've just noticed when I went to take a photo, message comes up saying "memory card not available".  grrrr Please help. otherwise I'll have to do a factory reset.  Thanks!

I don't quite follow but it seems that your SIM card might be faulty, also what do you mean the sms on your SD card? are you transfering your SMS/MMS to your SD card?

try this

settings > apps > all > camera >clear everything and restart your phone
