unfortunately, camera stopped working

So, this is the error I ve been getting for a week now... And my new z2 is week old as well... I bought this from hong kong, but I m currently in India... So advise me what can I do? Upgrading to. 314 did jack **bleep**, factory reset same. Power+up button same as well. And did anyone else had this problem before and how did you tackle it?

Try settings-apps-all-camera,force stop and clear data.Restart.

ummm, alexdon. clear data or clear cache? i thought clear data will wipe the camera app from the phone... or it's the solution?

TamirE bro it's been 2 weeks for now my camera still does'nt work. When i want to open my camera on Z2 it notifies me with the error of (UNFORTUNATELY, CAMERA HAS STOPPED) my last hope for the camera to start working back is the major android software update 4.4.4 and after the major software update if the camera still does'nt works,that time sadly i will sell my xperia Z2

well, clear data, clear cache, factory reset, upgrade fw... didn't help... sooooooooo, must be more deep... Slightly_frowning_Face 

I'm on HK firmware, may be, if I flash german one, it'll go away... i ll try that...

Sarkoss, from where did you buy your z2? and did you try to go to Sony Support Centre in whatever place you are?

So, flashing German FW didn't help... I think I'll try to exchange this in the store I bought... let's hope they do that, otherwise I have to smack someone with this useful junk of a phone... to think that sony produced flagship of a smartphone with a fck up like this... I think, I m turning into a samsung guy

Didn't help installing the DE firmware... someone in XDA forums told me that his brother had similar problem and Xeria support Center helped him. They said the camera module was disconnected due to falling or whatever...

Please tell me how did u solve it problem I have the same issue and I bought my fine from dubai and it won't be repaired in India n local service centres are also not helping please I really want to know how to. Fix discuss plz do replyme
