Viber is not working after updating my Xperia SP to new Android 4.3
There are totally confusing simptoms: I can not hear the other party, the other party can not hear me , I can not answer the call even when I try to or the other party can not answer my viber call even if they try to.
CAN SOMEONE HELP or HAVE ANY IDEA 🙂
I think the problem is with in the new firmwares that sony installed on the device .. because at first it worked very well that was before the update of android to 4.3 !!
so i think it's from the software of xperia ..
I did open a ticket for this issue and sent it to both viber and sony ,,, and there reply was that the still trying to figure out what the problem is !! but no solution so far !!
For me same or works for few seconds then I can't hear the other side but they can hear me,another thing also that actually on 3G and other data networks is working fine no problem even if I get a call and puts viber on hold when back to viber works perfect only over WIFI messing up and not working and my phone goes like mute all and I need to restart it,viber suggest reinstalling it again and did that many times already and is so annoying everyone I know using it
anyone has some solution or something
Unfortunately no solution came up till now !!
i'm working on Viber 4.1.1.10 it's a little better than the other versions
i suggest that you try it as a temporary solution..

yes it's working but not all the time .. when i face the problem i go to app settings and force viber to shut down then reopen viber and it will work..
this is what i'm doing for now 😕
viber has released another new version of the software , has anyone given a try to see if this version works fine or not?
I've read in review for the new version that it didn't solve the problem for the sony devices !
This does not seem like a sony specific problem, I have had the same problem with an HTC one M8, anyone found a solution yet?
