Hello,
I bought Vivaz pro just four months back and the auto-rotate display has stopped working all of sudden. I've tried software upgrades multiple of times but it hasn't helped. I gave it to Sony ericsson service center, they kept it for a week but then returned it back without rectifying it, just did a software upgrade which hasn't helped. has anybody experienced this problem before? Any suggestions that i can try on my own?

You can try phone repair via PC Companion and/or a Master reset.Otherwise take it back to the service centre.
check sensor setting
Done that like million times..Not helping. A new defect has developed today, Vivaz pro's ear volume drops all of a sudden and would only come back when the phone is restarted. Any clue? Getting tired of this phone now.. 
Done it couple of times but it's not helping and the service center has no clue. Its still under warranty but not sure if i can claim for a new handset. Any suggestions?
I'm sorry to hear this, but if the master reset and repair via PC Companion did not solve the problem I suggest that you contact you retailer to leave the phone in for service. Because a believe a service engineer would have to look at this.
