Hi,
I have the same problem.I used my sony Xperia Z2 device like a child and never let it even get a scratch.It was only one fine day I decided to take my handset to swimming pool to take some water selfies.It was the last day my device worked.I ensured the flaps were closed and it was not used for more than 5 minutes but still it got dead after 2 days.I submitted my handset to the nearest service center and awaited their response which they never gave until one month.After almost 40 days,I was told that my cell has been damaged and no warranty coverage will be provided for it and I will have to pay ENTIRE CELLPHONE COST for the replacement.So that means this cellphone is not waterproof as it says!!!!
If someone shells out 45000 for a phone with average features which are available in Oneplus One costing less than half the rate,one expects to use the phone freely in any water prone situation without worrying about these things.But now after this incident,I stand shocked and repent a lot on the money I spent for buying this badluck!!!!!!!!!!
Still waiting when I shall get back my handset...Also my demand for VACCUM TEST made at the service center was not entertained.
