Whether my xperia Z3 is orinigal or fake?

Hello, i just brought a new xperia z3 today, and there is any warrenty paper from the company. Also, when i log in the support forum, and they asked me to add IMEI. When i added the those IMEI numbers, it said IMEI is invalid. What does it mean? My phone is not orginal or what, and how can i know whether my phone is origianl for sony company? Thanks!

What do you mean by FAKE?

Do you mean 2nd-hand (used)? or Blacklisted IMEI (stolen phone)? Another brand of phone like Samsung but it says it is Sony Z3?

Make sure to enter the 14-digits without any spaces or hyphens. You can dial *#06# to get the IMEI number displayed on screen.

By fake i mean its not the original product of sony company.

Is it s single or dual SIM phone? You can also find the IMEI number(s) in a paper card below SIM card tray.

Upload a photo under Settings, About Phone. Use Sony Mobile PC companion to see if it recognises your phone.

Hi,

Just like FrontierGate said, you can use PC Companion. You can try to run a software repair using PC Companion via PC Companion since this will only work for a genuine phone.
