Why has my SGP312 tablet only got an old version of Android and yet tells me it is up to date. Why has it not updated to 4.3 with a view to updating to 4.4 at a later date?.

I only bought it 5 weeks ago and direct from Sony too, surely it should have the latest version of everything?

Software updates are released at different times depending on operator and/or country. And it's also depending on the date of purchase. Thereby, you might already have the latest update. You could send me your IDID number in a personal message and I could look closer to it:

Hi, well we all know from previous posts on the forum that Android 4.3 wasa rolled out last December and Android 4.4 is already being rolled out so I don't see how having 4.2.2 means I already have the latest update.

I'll look up this IDID number and PM it you to..
