I am experiencing exactly the same issues as this Z3 Compact user. Is there a known fix for these widget issues?
That is possible, but at least it is verifiable, as I don't root my device and try to avoid invasive apps (such as virus scanners). There are just a few non-standard apps that inject or hook themselves into the system:
I'll try removing all of them and see if that makes a difference. If it does not, then I'm pointing fingers again
I have now removed all mentioned third party apps. Booting into Ultra Stamina mode and back into normal mode still breaks any third party widgets (not Android ones) ...

Hi fatso83,
i got the same problems.
I checked out the "ultra stamina mode" - After this, i got the same issues like you.
Android Version 5.1.1.
No root, stock sony android...
In many threads i read to "uninstall updates" Google Apps like: GoogleWebView... This dont worked for me
Perhaps it will solved your issue/bug...
I hope it will be fixed... and sombody find a workaround for this...
I look forward to hearing good news
EDIT: Sorry for edit, but i got the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact....
I contacted support, but they said they were unable to reproduce the issue. Think we are on our own on this one ...
Hi fatso,
i discovered that if i add one new user, that the new user dont have the issues.
Only the regular user.
Check out... (Settings > User > Add new User)
If this works that mean it will be a user problem, maybe?
Cool finding! Maybe I can setup a new user profile, sign in with all my accounts, and then delete the old one (regular one)?
Have you tried it?
But im not sure, how to delete the old one (regular user)...
I think the method is more like a lite-work-around and it will not fix the issue, and this is the point.
