Hi, my x10 mini pro, which I've had for 2 months or so, is totally dead, it won't charge or turn on or respond to anything. I sent it to a general phone repair shop, who sent it to another person, has reported back saying he can't do anything to make it work.
The problem started a few weeks back, when I was out walking and got caught in a thunderstorm. I had the phone in my pocket and the rain started coming down very heavily really quickly, and so I moved the phone to my bag, inside a towel (I was going to the gym at the time), to keep it dry. Once I got to the gym, I checked the phone and it wouldn't turn on, despite having been on charge up to an hour before I'd set off, so the battery was full. It would occasionally vibrate but not turn on, and there was some condensation in the corner of the screen. I decided to leave the phone to dry once I got home, and left it in the airing cupboard with the battery and sim card out for a few days. The condensation disappeared soon after, but the phone still wouldn't turn on, even after a week. So that's when I went to the repair shop.
I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem, or knows whether I'd be able to get it repaired/replaced by Sony Ericsson.
