Tried using the update service, got as far as connecting while holding back key and 2 days later, my thumb hurts - ok, but it didn't recognise the back key and stayed stuck on the firmware check page - any advice?
I am totally non techy but I think its something to do with the PC not recognising the phone and drivers. A cheat is to start your PC up in safe mode (keep tapping F8 until you get the Safemode screen) then select Safe mode with Networking and try running the update service from there. This has worked for lots of people.
