Xperia Arc keeps dropping wifi connection

My new xperia arc keeps dropping the wifi connection. I have the wifi sleep policy set to 'never' and yet it drops it almost every time I press the home button after the screen has gone off. I will then have to go to wifi in settings and it kick starts it into live again and connects. Really irritating as I now have to check if i am connected or not befor broswing etc. Anything else i can do to stop this happening?

No luck for me. Mine is a play and the update is not in Canada yet. Setting the router to 11g did not work. This sucks bad.  Sony needs to get off their asses and fix this.

That didn't fix my wifi problem...any suggestions? I only noticed the differance in HD Video Recording and maybe the Facebook...but the Wifi still no luck...

try your wifi connection on different hotspots/routers and see if that's the issue

Update done...but that didn't fix the wifi problem....

you can use the European firmware version, it works just fine

waiting  on uk update. So far wi-fi is acceptable on 3.2.2
